LOS ANGELES, CA: The Secret Headquarters hosted the most anticipated Jay Howell art show and Creep Club zine release 5.4.12, which is now available on the Secret Headquarters shop page for $15 (limited to only 200 copies.) The show was packed and I’m pretty sure most of the pieces were sold.

Jay will be releasing a 10 in tall x 40 inch long foldout zine (200 copies), one side featuring book pages from the show and the other a really long Creep Club drawing.

Opening Photos from Russ Pope’s ‘Tax Included’ at AR4T
LAGUNA BEACH, CA: Russ Pope’s ‘solo show ‘Tax Included’ opened to a packed house Thursday night at AR4T Gallery. The show featured new paintings, sculptures, paintings on books, and one-a-kind prints all in Russ’s signature style brush strokes, characters, and colors–as well as live music by Indian Wig (Hagop Najarian, Lance Mountain & Neil Blender). The show is up for display for the month (April 28th), so cruise down and check it out.

LOS ANGELES, CA: Lifetime Collective invades Los Angeles to Launch the Second Issue of “Free Thinkers” a self-published magazine that takes an in-depth look inside the inspiration behind Lifetime. The debut of “Free Thinkers” will be held at the HVW8 Gallery, on March 30th at 7pm. The event will be open to the public and will include a performance by Mattson 2 along with a gallery exhibition. Artist Jay Howell will also be at the opening with zines as well.
