SANTA MONICA, CA: This Saturday, March 24. Copro Gallery in Santa Monica will be opening our 18th Birthday exhibition,Juxtapoz Turns 18. This week, we will be doing teasing previews of the entire exhibition, and today we have works from NECKFACE, Robert Williams, Estevan & Eriberto Oriol, Denis McNett, Mike Giant, Marion Peck, Todd Schorr, Dave Cooper, Andrew Schoultz, Souther Salazar, Candice Tripp, Tara McPherson, and Don Pendleton.
The entire exhibition will feature works from a group of artists who have been featured in our pages over the past 18 years, including Retna, Todd Schorr, Shepard Fairey, Mark Ryden, Jeremy Fish, Marion Peck, Andrew Schoultz, Camille Rose Garcia, CR Stecyk III, and many others.
Juxtapoz Turns 18 opens on March 24, 2012, at Copro Gallery, Santa Monica, 8PM. The show runs through April 14, 2012.

Selective Memory: Photos From the Road 1995 -2011 by Greg Hunt

Vans Syndicate celebrated the release of a special footwear project with renowned skateboard filmmaker and photographer Greg Hunt with a photo show on Friday, October 14 at Dem Passwords gallery in Los Angeles.
The first solo exhibition from Greg Hunt, Selective Memory encompassed sixteen years, combining over 150 still images with unseen archival film and video. The event spotlighted a Vans Syndicate footwear collaboration with Greg, which includes an Era 46 Pro ”S” and AV Sk8-Low ”S”, as well as two tees featuring his photos.
Hitting select shops later this month, the shoes come packaged with a limited edition Syndicate/Greg Hunt postcard book featuring hand-picked images from Greg’s archive. More than 400 good friends came out for the show including Ed Templeton, Geoff Rowley, Anthony Van Engelen, Alex Olson, Jason Dill, Arto Saari, Patrick O’Dell, Neckface, Andrew Allen, Chima Ferguson, Jonathan Mehring, Anthony Acosta, Brayden Szafranski and David Gonzalez.
