Opening Photos from Human Failure

Philidelphia, PA: Human Failure, a solo of works by Michael C. Hsiung (me!) recently opened June 4th at the Slingluff Gallery in Philadelphia, PA June 4th.  Human Failure featured pen on paper and ink on paper works as well as various strange depictions of mermen, unitaurs, and hawkbird men.  If you happen to be in Philadelphia, then swing by and check out the show before it comes down July 2nd.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA: Los Angeles based Mel Kadel and Travis Millard (Vans) will be showing their individual and collaborative works this Saturday June 11 from 7-10 pm at FFDG in San Francisco this weekend!!!  As a part of their opening, Mel and Travis collaborated on their first zine,  WHO’S GONNA EMPTY THE CATBOX??? which will be available at the opening.

The Human Pyramids Artist Collective’s Foreign Affairs

Last Saturday May 14th, AR4T (Artists Republic For Tomorrow) in Laguna Beach hosted the Human Pyramids Artist Collective’s second international group show, Foreign Affairs. I recently caught wind of this even via the www.fecalface.com.  So this is for all the Melbourne folks.  Check out this an upcoming event, The Sugar Mountain Festivalcelebrating the diverse creative forms of music and visual art, and the links between. Some artists include Jay Howell, Mel Kadel, Kelsey Brookes, and Mark Whalen

The visual art program will be curated by artist/creative director Pete Keen, supported by No Vacancy Gallery and will feature an impressive roll call of Australia’s finest young creatives alongside very special international acts.
